I filed a claim in August and did not have an interview til dec 15th. I was let go from my job. Still no response from EDD on my determination of eligibility. Every call to edd gets disconnected and my emails get generic responses that seem like they didn’t even read my question. Beyond frustrated and disgusted with the state of California.

Long story short, I got phone interview letters from EDD, all the payment that was happening every 2 weeks well got paused to pending, and this morning was the interview (8am-10am). Put the number for the EDD in your phone, so hopefully you can identify when they call. Document every interaction with the EDD and who you talk to.
