I think its 912 files not 192 files, at least its 912 for me. I'm having the same problem, except I couldn't open up the game. It's happens to me twice. First right after I installed it I verified the 912 files and it played without trouble, but after I closed it down and later tried to open the game up again.As far as Steam validating files, this is an issue that is between the Steam client and Activision. There is no way for the end user to fix that issue. The only time you should validate the files is if the game will not load/run at all. This would mean that a file somewhere in the games directory is corrupt and needs to be replaced.
