Boyds M1 Garand Stock ? Have a tentative trade in the works for yet another M1 Garand. Thing is . . . the offered rifle has a Boyd or Boyds stock set on it. Remember hearing something not good about those stocks many years ago. In looking at pictures of this particular rifle, the wrist and butt-stock area appear weirdly shaped and simply too thin.

No need to buy expensive, bulky, and heavy tools. I will put the tool into the chamber, and close the bolt on it, using the Op Spring to push all the things that need pushing. Get the tab under the extractor and rotate with a cleaning rod.
