hi guys. I have KOTOR 2. i installed it, and i start it up, create my character, and watch the opening cut-seen. After that, i try to play the game and a black screen with a box saying "Knights of the old republic 2 has stoped working". I run the game in admin and windows xp service pack 2.UniWS works perfectly for me on a non-steam version. Jan 7, 2020 · Yes yes, because resolution affects saves xD. What a failed troll. Flawless causes memory overflows that can corrupt saves. This is why my game constantly crashed whilst using flawless widescreen. Luckily as another user on this thread said, my auto save was able to save me, although setting me back an hour.

so I've bought Kotor during the Steam Summer Samle to indulge myself in some nostalgia but Flawless Widescreen is making it a bit difficult to enjoy the game in 1920x1080. I can select the resolution (thanks to Flawless Widescreen), however, the in-game screen looks like this (Imgur). I can only see the upper-right quarter of the game.It looks like the problem was something related to my resolution that it isn't supported by the game engine. UniWS unequivocally does work with the Steam version of KOTOR 2. Go to this link , watch the video, follow its instructions exactly, then follow the installation instructions of the mods in the optional widescreen extensions section.

Use this: https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org. It’s the easiest and most effective method (at least that I know of). Every time you start the game up you need to exit out and start again, minimize it, run the program, and then open the game and choose the highest resolution it adds and it will make it full screen and HD.

Kotor 1 UNIWS Crash. I've followed every step in this video but when I get to the main menu both my monitors go black. I can still hear the music and eventually my monitors turn back on and the game crashes. Does anyone else have this issue?
