Lower quality tier 4s will tend to have a hidden melee damage modifier of between 1.1 and 1.5. Whereas top end thralls (like Cimmerian Berserker/Dalinsia/Volcano thralls/Teimos - or on Siptah t4 Accursed) tend to have a modifier of 2 - 2.2. (Non t4 thralls will often have even lower modifiers). Thralls could never use perks so I assume you mean attributes. Expertise is encumbrance with a couple old survival perks. That’s it. Idk how grit is wasted on thralls if they don’t have it…yet at least. Grit will give armor like agility used to yet it also is seemingly replacing survival kind of. Best heavy you can craft. Thralls do not dodge and do not have stamina issues, neither do they get any skill buffs from armor like players do. So always always give your thralls heavy armor for best protection. Basically this, try to give every thrall heavy armor, a good weapon, and a sandstorm mask. Thats the best you can do for thralls.
