This will be a bit of a hard nut to crack, I think. A random Korean song came up on my Spotify and it had a very similar sound to what I am sure was some sort of cartoon from my childhood. So I remember that in 2004 there was an old cartoon about two native Canadian kids who find out that the sun is going to set for six years. So the boy, I'm pretty sure his name is Iko or Iku decide to go to a jounry around the world to bring the sun back. and a girl, either his sister or a friend, come with him, and they had a cat-like pet who joins them

Cartoon Network or something like that from the 2000s. I believe it was a spy/action show of some kind and every episode would have the characters being given their mission by a woman behind a desk. The main thing I remember is an episode where the woman is shrunk and is just naked in a pile of her still regularly sized clothes.

Ive been thinking about this show for a while but I remember so little of it that it pains me each time I think about it. It has three teenagers which in the one episode I can actually remember get stuck on an island or part of an island where them and their monster/dinosaur start becoming evil and that is all I can remember from it.The main character lived in a dark apartment and only seemed to go out at night to talk to his weird friends. A long shot; I have put those search terms into countless places, and now I come to you, TOMT! It was a cartoon that aired in the UK around 2004, maybe earlier or later. I believe it was produced in North America, or at least dubbed there for English-speaking audiences. I remember it being sort of stop-motion, though that could be a false memory.
