#1 hello All. Ht131 pole saw is running fine but when you go to cut a branch the chain wont revolve easily. If you go extremely gently it will start and go but it feels like a worn clutch? In saying that is it the clutch in the powerhead or is there a clutch mechanism in the saw gear head?Bad points. 1.The thinner chain flys off all day long. 2.The stupid rest-handle under the engine is too tall and it rolls the pruner all over the dam place like crazy when set down. 3.The new designed plastic locks inside that hold it extended and lock work too damn good now and I cant even move the SOB at all!!!!!!!!Check the electrode gap of the spark plug and ensure it is 0.02 inches. Always change the spark plug after 100 operating hours of the chainsaw to avoid engine problems. Check the chain tension and adjust it if it is too loose or tight.
