Basically, it was a cartoon where in the first episode a bunch of humans move into a new town on Halloween and have no idea that everyone in the town is monsters because it's Halloween. The daughter befriends all these monster kids. The first episode might have been a longer movie-like episode, but very much could have been a normal-length episode.
